It's been a while since I've posted much of anything. I have been shooting a lot of photos lately and painting more than ever. I don't know if I'll post many shots because I don't feel photography is too representative of my style. But, some do show my artistic direction, so along with new paintings, woodwork, and other projects, new photos will be up.

Lately I've been learning a lot. I took a month-long landscape painting class and worked with oils for the first time and now I love the versatility of the medium. I'm teaching myself to chip carve and I am learning rosettes and borders. Finally, I'm drawing for school and getting connected with some community events which hopefully I will be a part of in the future.

So basically, I'm still finding my medium and style, which is destined to be a life-long process. I'm sketching, painting, carving and everything in my free time, but really seeing where it's all headed.

So keep a look out for new work on the way, I think it'll be a change but not inconsistent with my aesthetic.
